Can You Describe Countries Where Deficiency Diseases Would Be More Prevalent?

    Food is major sources for essential substances like, minerals and amino acids. Deficiency of these essential substances in diet can result in many problems. These deficiencies can be in protein, fats, and carbohydrate, calcium, iron, iodine, zinc, thiamine, niacin, vitamin C and D. The deficiency diseases are more common in less developed countries of third world and Africa. Countries like Afghanistan,  Pakistan, India, Sri lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Burma, Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia, Ethiopia  etc are facing the problems of deficiency diseases. But Iodine deficiency is a global problem. Deficiency diseases have been controlled by many countries but still could not be eliminated. These diseases are still present in developed countries to some extent.
