Cocaine is a vasoconstrictor. That is, it causes your blood vessels to get smaller, thus causing your heart to actually work harder and faster (tachicardia) which in turn makes your heart beat irregularly (dysrhythmia). That is what can cause people to die from use of cocaine.
The rise in body temperature is how your body is trying to solve the problems that the cocaine is causing.

Please encourage  your classmates to stop using before they become a statistic and somebody has to tell their parents how they died.
