How Do You Remove Ink From A Carpet?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Actually there are many products in the market today that will help you remove all kinds of stains on all kinds of furniture. In this case in particular, that is removing an ink stain from your carpet- you can try a product called Oranges 95'. Many people have tried it and found it fairly effective.

For a cheaper home remedy to the same problem try applying some rubbing alcohol to the stained area. Always act quickly and treat the area with rubbing alcohol as soon as you possibly can. Put a small amount of the rubbing alcohol on a clean dry cloth and dab the cloth around the stained area. Be careful not to spread the ink by rubbing wildly.

If you still find conspicuous traces of the ink stain on your carpet then try using the commercial solvent mentioned above to finish the job.
