Mount Pinatubo belongs to the Cabusilan Mountain range which is located on Luzon Island. It is an active Volcano that has caused mass destruction a number of times.

The last major eruption of this volcano happened in June 1991, as a result of a 7.7 magnitude earthquake. This eruption caused so much destruction that it is considered as the largest eruption in human history. It is said that around 10 billion metric tonnes of magma was erupted by this volcano in 1991. It caused destruction of millions of homes and buildings and killed around 300 people. The whole area was evacuated.

Mount Pinatubo has been dormant since 1991 which means for 17 years. However, its last eruption caused mass destruction as well as added to global warming around the world.
