Clare was noble and kind hearts beautiful Italian woman. She was the foundress of an order of nuns now it is known as 'Poor Clares'.
Her spiritual life started when she confessed in front of all the nuns after Epiphany in 1294. She fell into ecstasy and stayed in that situation for several weeks.
After that she told that she saw herself in front of God and He was judging her!
