After Just Starting Birth Controll Pills Of Two Months Mess My Cycle Up Making It Late?

I just started the pill two months ago, since then i was always starting my peroid early anywhere from three weeks to four sometimes, now im late starting, from when i would normaly start not being on the pill. Can the pill cause my cycle to mess up or make me be late starting i also been under mush stess lately and very tired alot.
