How Can You Explain/describe "No Man's Land" During World War One?

    No man's land represented the area of ground between opposing armies, between trenches.

      The term "No Man's Land" was used to designate women-only battlefields during the first world war.  The women had got so very cross with the men for leaving the lid of the tank up that they sometimes refused to fight with or even speak to the enemy.
