What Kind Of Snake In Oklahoma Could Poison A Dog And Ruin It's Liver?

My dog was said to of been poisoned 2 weeks ago, spent a week in the vet hospital and $700. I found under his fur on his neck a dime size red spot, or cut. I'm curious if it could of been a snake and not the neighbours being evil.
