Should I Apply For A Fresh Credit Card Now Or Do I Wait To Get My Original Card?
I lost my wallet yesterday night at a restaurant. It had my credit card too. I have blocked my card from being misused. The guys at the restaurant said that they will get back to me if they find my wallet.

Best to cancel your card. Typically your bank or credit card issuer will do this anyway if you file a fraud report. Usually a new card can be mailed or couriered to you within a week. It's only a hassle for automated payment arrangements you may have.

Apply for a new one. One time I lost my card at the gas station. I called the company and told them that I lost it and they sent me a new one. They told me I needed a new one anyways because the numbers on the card would be different just for security purposes. I got my old card back eventually but, ended up cutting it up.
