I don't understand what you mean.  However the best answer I can give you is to do something that no one has ever thought of.  For example:  The group WAR (known for their hit Low Rider '75) put out a greatest hits Lp (not CD, this was pre-CD era) with a unreleased single titled "Summertime". Which consequently became a, yep, you guessed it a "hit'. They were the first group to ever do that.  Needless to say, this was not a planned move, they needed one more song to complete the album. Why they chose a never released single I don't know but it worked and it started a trend.  So do something original and out of the ordinary.  Think!
