Where Can I Find Clothes To Fit Over Cloth Nappies?

Trousers are usually the biggest problem. The more designer the clothes, usually the tighter the cut (the fashion is to make babies and toddlers look slim, just like the parents). Moreover, just like adult clothes, some High Street brands of baby clothes are cut slimmer than others.

Vests are tricky, too. You may want to try vest extenders.

One solution is to switch to dresses and tights for girls. For boys you can try over-size shorts (1-2 years above your child's actual age) as half-length trousers in summer.

On the High Street, the worst bet for clothies is usually Ladybird (Woolworths). The most generous fits are often found in Adams, H+ M (baggy jeans), most Osh Kosh items and Tesco. Trousers are usually cut more generously for boys than girls.

There are also some specialist brands. There's Cut 4 Cloth, Green Rabbit, Bright Bots, and Tinkertogs.
