Well there are no particular places where you can be trained how to become a sage. To become a sage you need a high level of patience and wisdom which can be obtained only through experiences of life.
A sage basically is an intense philosopher eminent for his wisdom and sound judgement. There are quiet few well known sages in India, and they have a number of disciples, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to visit India to learn more about sages. Philosophy usually concerns itself with what is the exact and the best way to survive or live and what type of things really exist, and what is their precise nature. The term philosophy comes from the Greek language.
