Who Is Gillian Anderson?

Gillian Anderson was born on August 9, 1968 in Chicago, Illinois. She is a famous and well known American actress.

She is best known for her role as Dana Scully on the television series known as the X-Files. She made her first movie in 2001. Her first movie was House of Mirth.

As a young child, her family moved to Puerto Rico and then to England. Her father attended film school and worked as actor. Gillian began her acting career when she was twenty-two years old in the theater.

In 1994, she married Clyde Klotz. Clyde Klotz was the The X-Files series assistant art director. Together, they had one daughter. In 2002, when the X-Files series ended, her marriage to Clyde Klotz also ended. She got a divorce and moved back to London and began working as an actress. In 2006 she married Julian Ozanne. This marriage only lasted for a year. She has had many ups and downs in her life, but still succeeds in her acting career.
