There are several organizations that are devoted to conservation. They may be devoted to the conservation of a monument or monuments, a particular culture or even the heritage of a particular place. A conservation architect is an integral part of the conservation of a monument since he/she will study the architecture of the structure and then propose the necessary modifications, maintaining a balance between the preservation of the distinctive features of the structure and strengthening it at the same time.
