    United Nations is basically an international organization that was formed to facilitate coperation in international law, security, social progress, human rights and economic development. Its foremost aim is to achieve world peace.

    This organization was formed in the year 1945 after the World War II. It replaced the League of Nations. Today, this organization has 192 member countries. And has its headquarters in Manhattan, New York. The Secretary General of United Nations currently is Ban Kl-moon.
