    The phrase 'Here's looking at you kid' is one of Humphrey Bogart most famous lines. It was uttered by him to Ingrid Bergman, in the movie Casablanca that was released in the year 1942. Bogart played the character Rick Blaine who uses the line to express his love for Ilsa Lund, Ingrid Bergman's character.

    The phrase came in the 5th position, for a poll conducted about the most famous Hollywood quotes. It was used 4 times in the movie, the first time when Rick is thining about former times with lover Ilsa, the second when they're spend time together alone, the third while they meet in a bar and Ilsa is narrating her story to Rick and finally, when Ilsa takes a flight and Rick goes back to fight the Nazis.

    Great answer. There was also a mini series long after the famous must see Casablanca. KOJAK used this line also.
