    What To Do Now?1996 Ford Club Van..needs Help!!!

    I installed new alt. Checked everything. Volts only read 12. Took alt back it is good...battery good....everything connected properly....now what...still not getting results?

    Have you checked the ground up underneath the engine on the block? If it is loose it will cause low voltage.

    thanks i will try that. I basically have tried everything...i had the battery and carb checked again they are checking ok...the ground under....i haven't checked...i will .
