Is Laughing Dog A Good Brand Of Dog Food? Any Suggestions? Want To Spend Around £30 For 15kg

I think you should go for a recognised brand, like ekeunuba or
prestige brands, which although they cost more are balanced.
The cheaper brands contain a high proportion of fillers like maize meal or other starches. Which will not do your dog any good, in the long run you may save money, but you will pay at the vets, and with the general ill health of your dog. His coat will show it, his teeth will be gummed up with tartar and his smelly mess in the garden are the price you have to pay for using cheap brands.
This is one area where you should not scrimp, there are other areas where you can save money.
If you have the time, you can make his food from scratch by boiling up brown rice and meaty bones, and adding bonemeal and vitamins and a bit of fish oil, but it is hard to get the proportions right and have a balanced meal.
Best buy a balanced food, and enjoy your dogs vitality, he is your best friend. Don't go cheap on him or her.

Brands like Eukenuba are sold with rip off margins of around £15 for a 15kg sack. Sure they have high quality ingredients, but at an extortionate price. The Pet Food Manufacturers Association has strict guidelines on what can be put in dog food, and as far as I am aware Laughing Dog is a member. Their website contains much useful information about dog food, and I for one am shocked by what goes on in the pet industry. Your best bet is to research ingredients and try and learn a little about what they are for. I am happy to defend Laughing Dog because I feed their complete food, and my dog is better than fine. It is reasonably priced, and I like the fact it is baked.
