At What Age Can I Have My Male House Cat De-clawed And Neutered?
I am a first time cat owner and need to de-claw my cat. He will always be a house cat so he will not need his claws for defense or to obtain food. I also want his neutered.

If you go through the SPCA it's cheaper. Typically they don't fix cats until they're 8 months or older, they can get their shots at the same time, and de-clawed. It's best to have the male cat fixed before they start spraying all over the place.
It stinks up your home if they do this, because cat urine contains amonia, and it's extremely difficult to get rid of. Also, when you have them fixed, they don't have the tendency to meow a lot at night. Hope this helps.

Please don't dewclaw your cat. It isn't necessary if they claw just holler or spray them with water. Declawing a cat is like cutting off the first joint of your own finger !!! Ask your vet and they will tell you the same thing
