    Protein is basically the stuff that does EVERYTHING in the body. They make antibodies that destroy foreign objects so you don't get sick. Proteins like actin and myosin are what causes are muscles to move. Enzymes speed up every chemical reaction in your body and make them easier to carry out. I bet that you have heard of insulin and hemablobin, and what important roles they play in our health.
