I don't have much information about supplemental security insurance (SSI). It is better to ask from the customer service about the rules and regulations. You can call  1-800-772-1213 or visit their website for all important information and rules  & regulations. Please visit SSI.

consider SSI as welfare, what would your child get if his or her father were on welfare, think about it ,that is the answer sorry to say but that is how the GOV. works, they don't want to give you anything ,so If you need help taking care of the child, apply for welfare, and let them know the father is on SSI,Good Luck and Peace.
