Have You Ever Been On Television?

A few times, past bike weeks. The other times were just being in the right place, at the wrong time. Lol

I was once when I was in I think kindergarten or first grade, and it was the Christmas recital. Lol Then about a year ago, my daughter was a hero and told me she smelled smoke when we were getting out the door, and it was snowing, so that is what I smelled, her nose saved our neighbors house, and she was on the news for that, and I was taped with her while I was talking away. Lol

No. I have made the papers a few times though.

I once lobbied for a county ordinance in California, and was on TV each time I made a presentation to the board of stupidvisors.

We had a few local tv shows that we were in the audience several times.. One was a kids show with puppets called the Alley Cat Show, and since I was such a cute kid (LOL) I was chosen to interact with the puppets almost every time I was there. Since it was a locally produced show, we could go there anytime we wanted to, and it was a favorite destination for birthday parties. We went at least every month or so. The other show was The Martha Dixon Show and was a cooking show.. It kind of reminds me of the Martha Stewart or the Paula Deen Shows. My Mom loved that show and we went to it lots and lots of times. She would sometimes have someone from the audience help her make the dishes. My mom got to help her a few times... And I got to help once. We went to that show so often that Miss Martha knew our names. Oh... And I was on the news twice... Once with my school field trip to a ski place, and the other time with my girl scouts (I was the leader) on our float that was in the big parade.

No. I have made the local papers a few times though.

Years ago I was on our local tv station in Flagstaff.  We were protesting the school district not having seat belts on the busses.  Didn't win, still no seat-belts on school buses.
