How old are the kittens? There is flea powder for cats and kittens and directions for use is on the package??? Phone a vet and ask the question or a pet store! Give them the brand and all the relevant info and Im sure they will give you the answer.

You immediately wash it off with plain water and then get them to a vet ASAP. The active ingredient in almost all flea control products is pyrethrin, which is a toxin. It is deadly when overdosed, and not in a happy, peaceful way--in a messy, violent, traumatizing way.
Also, you make VERY sure that you are applying an appropriate dosage/formula the next time you intend to use a flea treatment, if your pet survives.
