Well its pretty obvious since its called WORLD War 1. Though there were some continents and countries where the fighting and disagreements were more concentrated. Europe wasn't a great place to be at the time as a lot of the causes of ww1 originated form that area (as in the people. E.g: Adolf Hitler) The racism and other horrible beliefs spread to other continents until the whole world found itself in a pickle.
