If there was not contact between the cats it is impossible for them to get it. Feline aids is transfered the same way the human aids is transfered.

Probably not if they were really kept apart. But if you are worried there is a feline aids test your vet can do. And while there is no cure that can give supportive meds and vitamins. If you cat has no symptoms , and never had any contact, I wouldn't worry too much, but like I said to be sure have the vet test them.
