Is It Possible To Tell If You Are Having Mini Strokes In Your Sleep By A Spinal Tap?
I was told by someone that they were having mini strokes in their sleep, and that a spinal tap was what found it. Is this true?

Strokes are usually caused by a lack of blood to the brain. A spinal tap takes a sample of spinal fluid. The doctor suspected I was having TIA (transient ischemic attack) or mini strokes two years ago, and a CT and MRI were done. No spinal tap which happens to be very painful.

I have no idea actually. My cousin was having seizures in his sleep and they found that out by a cat scan. So I don't know.
