Can A Bank Return A Check For NSF When Funds Were Available To Pay The Check?

Answer Question

No they can not do that. Unless you made a deposit and the deposit has not fully hit your account then they would have the right not to honor the check. If they charged you fees and the return for the place you sent the check. I would ask to speak to the branch manager, and to waive all fees and to pay the place where the check returned.
