    Hi, software engineers are always biggest demand in Google. Except that, accountant, admin, market or sales are also recruited each year. Occasionally, they also recruit some scientists, your biotech background might fall in this categories.
    Google tends to recruit more experienced staff rather than graduates, also inicitives and creatives are the most important qualities they are looking for.

      All employees must have a degree so far as I am aware and there may be a few exceptions whereby their experience is excellent. The tests are very different too, they tend to really challenge their applicants in the recruitment process.
