I am 18 and I would like to get a credit card...without my parents knowing. Im 18 so they can't rack it, right? I can just start with a different bank even if my savings account is with my parents bank?

You're just starting out in life and trust me you dont need the financial baggage of a credit card just yet! Do you have a job? Do you any means of making your monthly payments? Think very hard before you get a credit card or you could well end up with a black mark on your credit record.

All you have to do is go online to what ever company you wish to have, e.g. Visa, mastercard or a store card from kohls, target and just fill out and submit an application and usually you will here within a minute if you are approved.

Its really easy to get a credit card you just have to watch the tv for advertisements and call in an apply.
