What Is The Sixth Principle In The Preamble Of The United States Constitution All About?

Answer Question

The Preamble in the United States Constitution is a paragraph at the very outset of it, which outlines all the goals that the Constitution of the United States is meant to fulfill and honor.  It is absolutely necessary for all the bodies of authority (the legislative body, the executive body and the judicial body) to carry out all their functions in a transparent manner, which is devoid of any deceitful practices.

However with the passage of time, there are some aspects that need to be altered in order to adapt to the demands of the contemporary period.  This is what the sixth principle of the Preamble is all about.  It talks about the Elasticity clause that empowers the legislative, executive and judicial bodies to exercise within the realm of their powers and make all the necessary alterations that are critical in the prospect of adapting to the demands of time.  In other words, the Elastic clause is the clause that permits amendments to be made in the Constitution.
