    The neck glands are typically found in the neck. A gland basically is an organ found in the animal's body which blends a substance for release such as hormones, frequently into the bloodstream or into cavities the body or its outer surface.

    Each and every gland is created by an in growth from an epithelial surface. This in growth may from start have a tubular formation, but in other cases glands might start as a firm column of cells which later becomes tabulated.

    As development proceed, the column of cells may separate or give off offshoots, in which case a complex gland in created. In most of the glands the amount of branches is restricted, in others an extremely big structure is created due to recurring growth and sub-division.
