Who Plays The Keyboard For The Band Called Dream Theatre?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Jordan Rudess is the keyboard player for the band called Dream Theatre. Jordan Rudess was noted for his brilliant piano playing skills at the age of 6. His 2nd grade teacher noticed his skills and coaxed him further to take advanced piano lessons. When Jordan Rudess was at the age of nine he was taken into highly recognised Juilliard School of Music. It is a pre-college division which trains its students in the art of Classical Piano training. Although his parent's teachers and tutors were against him playing solo as progressive rock keyboard player, he still went ahead and decided to play. His first solo cassette was released in the year 1988. The tape was titled as Arrival. However Jordan's claim to fame has always been his work with Dream Theatre paired up with John Petrucci, James Labrie, Mike Portnoy and John Myung.
