I have been living here for 2 years and the property wasn't freshly painted and the carpet wasn't cleaned either when i moved in, so I was trying to find that out. Thanks

Normally, any decent landlord would make the proper clean-up and touch-ups for a new tenent.if not you could ask him to do it or if you do it to take off your monthly rent. I would also take pics,of the property in and out in case you want to leave he cant say you left in bad condtion.You may have to just do it yourself to avoid issue with the owner..
