How Much Is It To Install Air Conditioning In An Old Car?

It's rather stifling, this darn heatwave we're having. I guess you are wishing you had Air Con in your car, right?

The thing is getting it put in might actually cost you far more than you think. Imagine the work involved - a mechanic has to install the unit under you bonnet AND connect it up with your heating system. Chances are this won't all be brand spanking new, so therefore more expense on older rarer parts.

I'd go for windows down, wind blowing in your hair against tons of cash on a quick cooling fix. Or you could always buy a new car altogether!
