Binomial' target='_blank' class='qa'>en.wikipedia.org Nomenclature is a system of naming different species of animals and plants .So these names are equally popular in botany as well as in zoology. It is a Latin system which says that every specie name should be consisted of two words. For example the Bengal Tiger is Panthera Tigris.
