    The book entitled A Writer's Reference is one of the latest offerings from the team of Diana Hacker and Bedford/St. Martin's. The most recent edition of A Writer's Reference was released in the year 2007 and it is the sixth edition of the book.

    It goes by the tag line The Handbook of Choice. It has earned this sobriquet because of its growing popularity among students and teachers. Ms. Hacker has been joined on this book by a formidable team comprising a number of well-known contributing authors, such as Nancy Sommers, Tom Jehn, Jane Rosenzweig and Marcy Carbajal Van Hom.
