    They may use products or ingredients from non-Muslim countries that may have pork fat or animals slaughtered by Hindus or Buddhists who live in Europe or those non-Muslim countries. So it could be haram. It's better to ask them, and if they don't know, they should ask their sources; and if their sources don't know either they should change their sources, and get from products with halal certification or (kosher certification that's halal); this way your effort to help them change their sources may save a lot of Muslims who eat that patisserie from eating haram.
