There are some breeds of dogs that do not cause allergies, for example a shih tzu, which doesn't shed and does not have the same dandruff as other dogs. You would need to get your parents to be around one first to make sure they are not allergic to it, and since most non allergenic dogs are small ones, you will have to research the care that they need, because small dogs need different care then big ones.
