Gases in stomach and intestine are produced by swallowing of air during eating and drinking, incomplete digestion and eating of food like onion, garlic, beans, milk and milk products, leeks, radishes, sweet potatoes, cashews, Cauliflower, Broccoli, cabbage, Jerusalem artichokes, oats, and wheat, etc. Use of digestive enzymes supplements can help to reduce the gases. Odor in the gases can be treated by bismuth subgallate which is available as OTC.
