Transcontinentalism is an attitude or the way of expression which spans across continents. The transcendentalism ideals are touted to be the catch- line of the new world. With sweeping advancements in technology, the world is shrinking to become a global village. Rapid strides in communication, infrastructure, and transportation have made it easy for people to be constantly in touch with each other across the six continents.

Ideas and views are expressed globally without any obstacles of race, sect, and religion or cultural divides. Transcontinentalism seeks to overcome cultural barriers of race, sect, religion and other negating factors to foster a family of unity and mutual understanding. It is a good thing to know that people are shedding off the age-old narcissistic attitude and are aware about what goes around in other parts of the world thanks to transcontinentalism.
