Vanuatu or the Republic of Vanuatu is a Island country of South Pacific Ocean. The total country is consisted with a chain of twelve principle islands and almost sixty smaller islands. The census report of the year of 2002 stated that the population was around 207,000 in that year. Melanesian are the main part of the population, though there are also French, Chinese, Vietnamese and pacific islanders are also included in the population of Vanuatu. The official languages of the countries are Bislama, English and French. The official religion is Christianity which is included Presbyterianism, Anglicanism and Roman Catholicism. Vila is the capital of the country. The currency of the country is called vatu.

The Islands of Esparto Santo, Malekula, Efate, Ambrim, Tanna, Epi, Aneityum and Maewo and the islands of Pentecost are included in the country of Vanuatu. The major and larger islands are volcanic in foundation and mountains. Some of the famous volcanoes islands are Efate and Malekula. Those have good harbors also. Mount Tabwemasana is the highest point of the country of 1879 meters.
