Arabian Mare 2 Breed Sessions 4-18-08. After About 2 Months Showed Signs Of Season. She Is A Small Frame And In Good Shape, But Getting Quite Larger At The Belly. Also Works Out Regularly. Could She Be Pregnant?

What I have seen as far as signs of going into season are, Thick urine, creamy whitish discharge and spasms at the private area. I do not over feed and she just gets equine sr. I really want to start proper care now if she is pregnant. This would be her 4th month. I will be call a vet soon too. If anyone has seen this happen with a pregnant mare please share your experiences.

Well I have horses male and female both at my farm. You have already stated that the horse has been bred twice and this does give a clear indication that it might get pregnant. Furthermore the symptoms that you have written about are very familiar in pregnant horses as well. Furthermore check to see if your horse eats less then before, pregnant horses eat less. Also pregnant horses sometimes get lethargic or weak when they get close to getting pregnant. Do get her checked by the vet and take care of the horse accordingly so she can give birth to a healthy baby in the future.
