Where Are The Tugela Falls?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Tugela Falls are said to be the second highest waterfall in the world. The entire drop in five free-leaping falls is estimated at 3,110 feet. They are found in Drakensberg in the Royal Natal National Park, based in the KwaZulu-Natal region, in Republic of South Africa.

They are quiet easily visible post rain from the main travel road into the park, gleaming from the reflection of the late afternoon sun. The main foundation of the Tugela River is situated at Mont-Aux Sources quite a few kilometres away from the escarpment from where the falls drop. The water above the falls is pure and quiet safe for consumption.

The Tugela Falls are well known tourist spot too, with people coming from all parts of the world to have a glimpse of these falls.
