Need Some Help On Trying To Get An Ex Girlfriend Back..or If I Should Try At All?
Broke up with girlfriend almost 7 months ago out of blind ambition to move to a different city. It ruined our relationship. I am staying in same city, but want to be with her.. We met face to face, i told her how i felt and it went well, but days later she now says she needs time before she'll meet with me again. She has been seeing a guy for 1.5 months. Very new. Can I heal old wounds, and break through to her...find out how she is really feeling? Is she protecting herself from getting hurt again?

I would stay in the picture as long as she seems to want you to, but give her plenty of space, to sort things out. This may be a tough decision on her part. However it is hopeful, IF you TRULY Love her, make sure she knows.

Just tell her what's in your heart and work your charm ;)
and if she loves you for who you are then you will get back together and show her what's she has missed :). Hope this helps a little. X

thanks for your answer :) I do think it is time to give her space...it's just that it's tough to know how much to give her....but I love her enough to give her the space she needs. I wrote down some things I wanted her to know and gave it to her (most of it was discussed face to face too); sent her some roses with an admittedly sweet note asking her not to give up on us ("6 roses for 6 months...don't give up"; and, again, just am really being totally open about my feelings. If her future plans don't involve me, that's fine...I want her to be happy. but, I believe that sometimes you have to fight for what/who you love...even though it might not be the easiest situation. This Friday would be our 3 year anny :(
