What Is The Film `Far And Away`about?

The main plot of the movie 'Far and Away' is that there is a man and a woman living in the country of Ireland who wish to escape to the United States of America in order to make a fortune and get out of their wretched and pathetic lives that they were living in Ireland. When they reach America, they go through many hardships and cannot make a decent living for themselves and are usually starving without a shelter. They finally decide to head back to Ireland after meeting with an accident. The man then after months of working at a railroad heads to America again and takes advantage of the Land Run of 1893 in the country.

The man is played by Tom Cruise and the woman is played by Nicole Kidman. The film is directed by Ron Howard and was released in the year of 1992.
