Who Was Danny Rolling?

Danny Harold Rolling was born on the 26th of May in the year 1954. He was basically an American serial killer who is also referred as the Gainesville Ripper. He was arrested and executed for the murder of five students in Gainesville, Florida in the August of the year 1990. As a child his father was a police officer and was abusive to him and his mother. His mother Claudia Rolling made several attempts to leave his father but returned every time. Rolling had several incarcerations when he was a young man and ultimately had trouble settling in the society. In the year 1990 he attempted to kill his father during and argument and with fear of being caught ran away and went to Florida. It was then that he started his robbery and murder spree.

His signature as a killer was to arrange the bodies in a carnage even sometimes using mirrors to pose the bodies of his victims. He was ultimately arrested and was charged with several counts of murder and robberies. Rolling pleaded guilty in court and confessed to his crimes. Nearly after four years of the murders he was then finally given the death sentence. He was executed on the 25th of October in the year 2006 by way of lethal injection. He showed no remorse to the families of the victims that were present at his execution as witnesses.
