What Is The Difference Between The Swine Flu And A Regular Flu?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The current variety of 'swine flu' which is affecting humans is a hybrid (combination) of ordinary flu (human flu), bird flu, and swine flu. So-called because the first human cases are thought to have resulted from contact with pigs. Had the same virus been acquired from chickens we would now be talking about a pandemic of bird flu.
