I do think you need some legal advice on this, start out by going to the department of immigration and asking for the requirements and forms, it is always good to know right at the beginning, what you are in for. Becoming a citizen of any country is never to be taken lightly, and can be a long, frustrating and complex procedure. So be prepared to be in this for the long run.
There are various ways to get citizenship, they include by parental lineage, marriage, refugee status, investment, establishment of a company which contributes to your new economy etc.
All of these roads have there particular red tape attached, and America is no exception to this.
You will need your original birth, marriage, divorce, certificates
And they should be translated into English and officially authorized by your town where you are resident L.A., as such.
You will also need a record from any countries you have lived in as to your criminal record, if any. This can be no older than six months old, and must be applied for through the proper channels.
