Is It OK To Be Gay?

I believe it is okay i'm not gay but my mother is the only you can't control who you are attracted and  love is love

Being Gay is considered bad in many religions and communities. Many people and families do not like the concept of being gay. And there are few people who developed tolerance towards it. This fact of attraction still needs to be recognized and more tolerated.

just stay out of the red states

Being Gay is just as natural as being "straight". I have heard so many people say that it is not natural, while seeing it every day in nature. Have you ever seen two male dogs trying to have sex? Did you know that certain species of frogs can actually change sex? Even some fish do.

Many gay teens, young adults and men tend to move to larger cities that are more "gay friendly". Some of the main ones in the US would be NYC, Chicago, Fort Lauderdale/Miami, San Francisco.

If you are looking for support or activities, your best bet would be to turn to trusty Google.com and search for community centers and groups in your area. Larger colleges and universities usually have gay student groups that are open to the community as well.

Yes it is what you are nothing wrong

Its not okay to be gay. If you are "naturally" gay then that indicates either a chemical imbalance in the brain or an imbalance in hormone levels. People along with every other animal species have evolved to like the opposite sex, and it has been scientifically proven that EVERY person that is gay has some kind of chemical imbalance in their body, whether that be a hormone imbalance or something to do with the brain it depends on the person.

It is perfectly fine to be gay I am and I like it very much though it is very hard to be accepted by people in high school I still find it very rewarding I have met many very good people and every conversation I have with them is exciting and lets me know I am not alone.

You are what you are.  Why try to change someone who is gay? If you are straight would you like for someone to try and change you.

I know many gay men and women and the only thing I see when talking to them is what they are saying not any personal differences, and once  more it  is not my business.  

I have a friend who is a nurse and she and others went to a seminar,  they were told that scientists are believing  that it is a chemical embalance in the brain, and said it happens while still in the womb.

I have some friends who say God doesn't  make mistakes so that would not  happen, my reply was why are there so many babies being born with handicaps.

Some people and family members are so blind to being gay, lord help them if and when it happens in their own family.

I do pray that someday people can put their fears of life away and we can love everyone for who they are ~~true human beings just like they are.

Yeah, of course it is! About 10% of the worlds population is gay.

Don't listen to people who say otherwise, because of what the bible says for example. Fundamentalists quote the bible selectively. If we'd take everything literally we'd be killing every child who's disrespectful to their parents, men who'd sleep with woman who are on their period would get deported, we'd still have slaves, men wouldn't be allowed to shave, eating pork would be a sin and on and on...

It is PERFECT TO BE GAY!!!  YEAH IT IS!!!  Now those "Supposed Christians" say no, but remember Jim Bakker and in the Colorado Springs that DL/LD Pastor Ted Haggard.  So I have decided I will be Gay and VERY HAPPY!   People who do not like CAN DROP DEAD.  'You only live once and You are Gonna Come Back so I SHALL EXPRESS MYSELF.   BE FAB--BU--LOUS!!!

Of course. My sister, and my mom are gay. Nothing is wrong with being gay. I think gay boys are actually cute together. You can't control who you love. And by the way, whoever said that all Christians say it's not ok. I am a Christian and I think it's perfectly fine. You love who you love.

If your into guys you can, don't worry what people say the might be it too its just like dating a girl but its just a guy!
