How To Change Fuel Pump 1992 S10 Pickup?

You can pull the bed off and remove the pump from the top of the fuel tank or drop the fuel tank down and then remove the pump from the tank

From what i've read on the internet in the past week, you have 2 choices, both of which are a big job. # one you drop the tank which i wanted no part of, or #two pull the box off the frame. I tried to loosen the bolts that hold the box on with no luck.  So i came up with a new and far easier way to do this job, i simply plotted exactly where the fuel pump was and cut a neat square out of the bed floor about 12 inches square and there it was, bing bong, bob's your uncle. Riveted a couple steel plates for back support and put the piece back in. A bit of silicone and bed liner back in, off to the races.
